4.3. Removal and installation of the water pump
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To merge cooling liquid (see subitem 1-3 of subsection 4.1).
2. To take off a generator belt (see subitems 4, 5 of subsection 12.1.3.1).
3. At four-cylinder engines to remove the generator (see subsection 12.1.3.1.). To remove a pulley of the water pump (see rice. The cooling system of the four-cylinder engine) to disconnect hoses from branch pipes in back part of the case of the water pump. To turn off a nut and to remove the bolt fixing the lower cover (see rice. Camshaft drive details) to the case of the water pump. To turn off bolts and to remove the water pump with a sealing ring (see rice. Cooling system of the four-cylinder engine). To turn off bolts and to uncover the pump with the roller and a krylchatka, to remove laying.
4. At five-cylinder engines to remove the top cover of the drive of a camshaft (see rice. Camshaft drive details). To take off a camshaft drive belt. To turn off bolts of fastening of the water pump and to take out the pump (see rice. Cooling system of the five-cylinder engine).
5. To replace sealing rings (see rice. The cooling system of the four-cylinder engine) and (see rice. The cooling system of the five-cylinder engine) and laying (see rice. Cooling system of the four-cylinder engine). To clear privalochny surfaces on a cover and a pump housing.
6. To install the pump upside-down. At the four-cylinder engine before installation to apply a sealant layer on laying of a cover. To pull a camshaft drive belt (see subitem 7-8 of subsection 3.1.2.9, subsection 3.2.2.7). To pull a belt.
