PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. If at a temperature of cooling liquid of 93-98 °C the electric fan does not turn on, it is the most probable that the sensor of turning on of the electric fan failed. For check of the sensor it is necessary to disconnect from it wires and to close them directly, the fan has to turn on even at the switched-off ignition. It means that the sensor is faulty and it needs to be replaced. |
2. Before replacement of the sensor to disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the accumulator. To merge cooling liquid (see subitem 1-3 of subsection 4.1). To turn out the sensor (16) (see rice. The cooling system of the four-cylinder engine) or (19) (see rice. The cooling system of the five-cylinder engine) from a radiator, having disconnected from it wires. To remove laying. To install the sensor upside-down, thus it is necessary to replace laying. |
3. For check of the removed sensor it is necessary to connect to it the accumulator and a lamp on 12 V consistently with the sensor. To ship carving part of the sensor in water and to heat it. The sensor has to include a lamp at 93–98 °C. Then to allow water to cool down. At 88–93 °C dachtik has to open a chain, and the lamp will go out. If temperatures of operation of the sensor do not keep within the specified limits, it means is faulty and it needs to be replaced. |
