9.5. Adjustment of the mechanism of a steering

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To make a trial trip and to check, whether the steering wheel automatically after turn comes back to the provision of the movement of the car on a straight line. Thus the steering wheel should not have a notable side play.
2. To adjust the steering mechanism an adjusting bolt. To carry out adjustment on the car standing on the earth, thus forward wheels have to be established in provision of the movement on a straight line.
3. Carefully to wrap an adjusting bolt on 20 °. If during a trial trip the steering wheel at an exit from turn automatically does not come back to a starting position, to turn out a little an adjusting bolt. If the big side play of a steering wheel is felt, slightly to wrap an adjusting bolt.
