5.2. Replacement lambda probe
GENERAL INFORMATION

Types applied a lambda probes

 1 – not warmed probe;

2, 3 – the warmed probes

There are three types a lambda probes applied on Audi cars. When replacing it is necessary to establish only the same probe what stood on the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect the electric socket of a probe from a plait of wires.
2. To turn out a lambda probe (see rice. System of production of the fulfilled gases) from a final collector.
3. To grease with special VAG G5 greasing a carving new a lambda probe. To watch that greasing did not get to cracks and openings of a probe. Not to touch hands working part of a new probe, to protect it from pollution.
4. To screw a lambda probe in a final collector and to tighten the moment 50 N · m (5,0 kgfs · м).
5. To connect the electric socket of a probe.
