3.3.1. Check of a tension of a belt of the drive of the fuel pump of a high pressure

GENERAL INFORMATION

Check a belt tension by means of the special VW210 adaptation.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To uncover 33 (see rice. Diesel engine).
	2. To install the piston of the 1st cylinder in v.m.t. Thus tags on a flywheel and a case of coupling, and also on a cogwheel 36 and an arm, as shown in drawing have to coincide.
3. Rotating the VW210 adaptation handle for check of a tension of a belt, to weaken a spring. To install the adaptation between cogwheels of a camshaft and the fuel pump of a high pressure so that the belt adjoined to the adaptation sensor.
4. Rotation of the handle of the adaptation to tighten a spring on 12-13 of scale units. Sideways the sensor the steel uvula on which the white tag is put acts. This tag has to coincide with edge of the adaptation. If it does not coincide, to adjust a belt tension.
