4.1. Replacement of cooling liquid

GENERAL INFORMATION

It is necessary to merge cooling liquid on the cold engine.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To open the heater crane.

2. To weaken a collar inhaling (see rice. The cooling system of the four-cylinder engine) and to remove from a thermostat branch pipe the hose bringing (3) or (20) (see rice. Cooling system of the five-cylinder engine) radiator. On five-cylinder engines, besides, to disconnect and remove the bringing heater hose.

3. To remove a stopper from a broad tank and to merge cooling liquid.

4. To connect the removed hoses into place, to tighten collars.

5. To fill in cooling liquid in a broad tank until its level is not established about a tag of "min" on a broad tank.

6. The five-cylinder engine to start and leave to idle. Thus liquid level in a tank will fall. To add liquid in a tank until its level does not cease to go down. To stop the engine.

7. To wrap a stopper of a broad tank.

8. To start the engine and to allow it to work idling before turning on of the fan. To stop the engine and to allow it to cool down. If after cooling of the engine the level of cooling liquid in a tank is lower than a tag of "min", to add liquid in a tank.
