6.1. Power supply system of carburetor engines

6.1.1. Replacement of the filtering element of the air filter

GENERAL INFORMATION

Air filter

1 – guard of an intake of warm air;
2 – collar;
3 – hose of supply of warm air;
4 – spring bracket;
5 – vacuum hose of the gate
temperature regulator;
6 – temperature regulator gate;
7 – gate pneumatic actuator;
8 – hose of supply of cold air;
9 – temperature regulator;
10 – filter cover clip;
11 – filter case;
12 – the filtering element;
13 – filter cover;
14 – temperature regulator valve;
15 – laying;
16 – hose of ventilation of a case;
17 – a vacuum hose from the carburetor to the temperature regulator valve

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To unfasten clips or if to eat, unscrew two screws of fastening of a cover.
2. To uncover.
3. To take out the filtering element.
4. To stop up with a pure rag an opening in the carburetor. To wipe the case and a cover of the filter from within. To take out a rag from an opening.
5. To insert the new filtering element.
6. To establish a cover. To clasp clips.
