6.1.13.1. Dismantling and assembly of carburetors of other models

GENERAL INFORMATION

Dismantling and assembly of carburetors of other models are carried out similarly. At assembly of the carburetor it is necessary to consider the following.

At the Pierburg 1B3 carburetor to check serviceability of the electromagnetic valve (see rice. To a carburetor 1B3 detail) it is possible, having brought voltage of 12 V to the valve plug and having connected then its case to "weight". The pin of the valve has to be involved on 3–4 mm. To check a gap and between the end of a tube and a surface of the air gate, it has to be 0,7–1,3 mm.

At the Keihin carburetor at installation of emulsion tubes to pay attention that on a tube of the first chamber of an opening from above, and on a tube of the second chamber – from below.

At the Pierburg 2E2 carburetor at installation the spray of the accelerating pump has to be located so that fuel got to dredging.

Prevention

The provision of a float in a float-operated chamber of carburetors is not regulated. At a fuel level deviation from nominal to check tightness of a float and a condition of the needle valve. To replace faulty details.
