3.1.1. Removal and installation of the engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To install the car over a viewing ditch so that the engine was under a waist or other similar device with a loading capacity not less than 300 kg.
2. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the battery located in a waterproof casing on the right (on the cars equipped with the conditioner, the battery is located under a back seat).
3. To remove a cowl (cm. subitem 1-6 of subsection 11.3).
4. To disconnect the taking-away radiator hose from the thermostat case, to remove a stopper from a broad tank and to merge cooling liquid (see subitem 1-3 of subsection 4.1).
5. To turn off drain traffic jams in a case of the engine and a case of a transmission and to merge oil.
6. To turn off drain traffic jams in a case of the engine and a case of a transmission and to merge oil.
7. To disconnect electric wires from the sensor of turning on of the electric fan and from the cooling system fan.
8. To remove a radiator (see subitem 3-9 of subsection 4.6).
9. To disconnect from the fuel pump hoses of giving and the return fuel plum (cm. item 2 of subsection 6.1.5).
10. To disconnect wires from knots and elements of electric equipment established on the engine.
11. To disconnect vacuum hoses and cables of management from the carburetor.
12. To remove the air filter (cm. subitem 1-6 of subsection 6.1.2).
13. On cars with the conditioner to remove the compressor, without disconnecting hoses, and to fix it a wire on a body.
14. On cars with the hydraulic booster of a steering to remove the pump, without disconnecting hoses, and to fix it a wire on a body.
15. To remove a heat-insulating guard of the right support of the engine.
16. To disconnect a reception pipe of the muffler from a flange of a final collector (cm. item 1 of subsection 5.1).
17. Slightly to weaken an inhaling of a nut of fastening of the right arm of an engine mount.
18. To remove a starter (cm. subitem 1-3 of subsection 12.1.4.1).
19. To disconnect a reception pipe of the muffler from a transmission arm.
20. To turn out the lower bolts of fastening of a transmission to the engine.
21. To turn off bolts of fastening and to remove the lower part of a case of coupling.
22. Slightly to weaken an inhaling of a nut of fastening of the left arm of an engine mount.
23. On cars with an automatic transmission to turn off bolts of fastening of the hydrotransformer.
24. To substitute a jack or other suitable support under a transmission.
25. To turn off bolts of fastening of a transmission to the engine.
26. To disconnect a wire of "mass" of the engine.
27. To check, whether all hoses and electricity cables are disconnected from the engine.
28. To turn off nuts of fastening of the left and right arms of the engine and to hang out the engine by means of a waist.
29. To remove engine mount arms.
30. To take out the engine from a motor compartment. On cars with automatic transmission to fix the hydrotransformer in a coupling case that it did not drop out.
31. To install the engine upside-down. On cars with a mechanical transmission before installation of the engine to grease with a thin layer of jellied greasing of a vent of primary shaft of a transmission.
