11.3. Removal and installation of a cowl

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To open a cowl.
2. To mark an arrangement of arms of loops concerning a cowl, having led round them, for example, a felt-tip pen.
3. At a gas emphasis with a plastic tip to extend by means of a screw-driver the fixing clip on 4 mm (completely not to pull out!) and to remove a tip of a rod of a gas emphasis from a spherical finger.
4. At a gas emphasis with a metal tip to take out a pin by means of flat-nose pliers and to remove a tip of a rod of a gas emphasis from a spherical finger.
5. To turn off bolts of fastening of loops to a cowl from both parties.
6. To remove a cowl. It is desirable to do it together, as a cowl rather heavy.
7. To establish a cowl and to wrap fastening bolts a hand without tightening.
8. To connect the lower fastenings of a gas emphasis.
9. To expose a cowl on earlier made tags and finally to tighten fastening bolts.
10. If the new cowl is established and tags before removal were not made, it is necessary to adjust the provision of a cowl.
11. For this purpose before a final inhaling of bolts of fastening of loops to a cowl to cover a cowl and to establish it so that gaps between a cowl and wings were identical from both parties, and the gap between the lower panel of a front and back part of a cowl was uniform throughout.
12. After that accurately to open a cowl and finally to tighten fastening bolts.
