6.1.14.5. Idling adjustment

GENERAL INFORMATION

Adjustment is carried out on the heated-up engine with the adjusted gaps in the mechanism of the drive of valves and the ignition moment.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To connect to the engine a control tachometer and a gas analyzer according to the instruction of manufacturer.
2. To establish by the adjusting screw of amount of mix (it is specified by an arrow) the frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft within (750±50) min.-1.
3. To establish by the adjusting screw of quality (structure) of mix (it is specified by an arrow) the level of the content of carbon monoxide (WITH) in the fulfilled gases no more than 1,0 (±0,5) %. To check and if necessary to adjust the idling rotation frequency, and then once again the contents WITH in the fulfilled gases.
