12.2.1.3. Check and adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition
GENERAL INFORMATION

Distance between a tag of century of m of t. and an ignition advancing corner tag on a flywheel

and = 7; 3 mm to the left of v.m.t. – the KF engine (3 ° to v.m.t.);
and = 14; 5 mm to the left of v.m.t. – KZ, RX engines (6 ° to v.m.t.);
and = 36; 5 mm to the left of v.m.t. – the NF engine (15 ° to v.m.t.);
and = 43; 5 mm to the left of v.m.t. – WH, WC, KP, KU, RT engines (18 ° to v.m.t.)

The corner of an advancing of ignition is regulated on the heated-up engine. Frequency of rotation of idling has to be adjusted, all consumers of the electric power are disconnected, the fan of the cooling system should not work.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To connect a stroboscope according to the instruction of manufacturer.
2. To start the engine and to leave to idle.
3. To direct a stroboscope beam on a window in a coupling case. The tag 1 (an ignition advancing tag) on a flywheel has to coincide with a tag 3 on a coupling case. If tags 1 and 3 do not coincide, to weaken an inhaling of a bolt of fastening of the distributor and, turning the distributor, to achieve combination of tags 1 and 3. To tighten a bolt of fastening of the distributor (2 – a tag of century of m of t. the 1st cylinder on a flywheel).
4. To check and adjust idling rotation frequency.
5. Again to check ignition installation.
6. To disconnect a stroboscope.
