6.1.16.1. Adjustment of frequency of rotation of start-up of the engine

GENERAL INFORMATION

Adjustment of a priotkryvaniye of a butterfly valve of the first chamber of the Keihin carburetor

Compression of the lever flat-nose pliers.

1 – lever of the drive of a butterfly valve of the first chamber;

2 – rod of a pneumatic actuator of a butterfly valve of the first chamber

Extension of the lever by means of a screw-driver.

1 – lever of the drive of a butterfly valve of the first chamber;

2 – rod of a pneumatic actuator of a butterfly valve of the first chamber

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To warm up the engine.
2. To remove the air filter (see subsection 6.1.2).
3. To disconnect a vacuum hose (1) from a pneumatic actuator (2) butterfly valves of the first chamber.
4. To connect a control tachometer according to the instruction of manufacturer.
5. To start the engine and to leave to idle.
6. To check rotation frequency on a control tachometer, it has to be 3500 min.-1. If necessary to adjust rotation frequency, bending or unbending a fork of the lever of the drive of a butterfly valve of the first chamber.
7. To remove the carburetor and probes to check a priotkryvaniye of a butterfly valve of the first chamber which has to be on models with mechanical transmission (1,3±0,1) mm, and on models with automatic transmission (1,5±0,1) mm. If necessary to adjust a priotkryvaniye of a butterfly valve, bending / squeezing or unbending / unclenching a lever fork.
