6.1.16.5. Idling adjustment

GENERAL INFORMATION

Adjustment is carried out at correctly determined moment of ignition and the switched-off consumers of the electric power.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To warm up the engine up to the working temperature.
2. To connect a control tachometer and a gas analyzer according to the instruction of manufacturer.
3. To adjust the frequency of rotation of idling till (750–850) min.-1 the persistent screw of the lever of a butterfly valve of the first chamber (it is shown by an arrow).
4. To disconnect a hose of ventilation of a case.
5. The screw (see rice. The screw of adjustment of quality (structure) of mix of the Keihin carburetor) to establish the level of the content of carbon monoxide (WITH) in the fulfilled gases no more (1,0±0,5) %. To check and if necessary to restore the idling rotation frequency, and also the contents WITH in the fulfilled gases.
