Adjustment of a tension of a belt

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Models with the 5-cylinder engine
1. To weaken an inhaling of nuts of a bolt of fastening of the pump and a bolt of an adjusting level, and also an inhaling of a bolt of fastening of an adjusting level.
2. To adjust a belt tension turn in one party of an adjusting bolt. At correctly adjusted tension the belt has to cave in on 10 mm when pressing by a thumb on the top branch of a belt in the middle between pulleys.
3. After adjustment to tighten all carving fastenings.
Models with the 4-cylinder engine
4. To turn off three nuts of fastening of a pulley, to remove an external half of a pulley and a belt of the drive from a pulley. To take out one of the adjusting washers established between pulley halves to put on a belt a pulley, to establish an external half of a pulley and the removed adjusting washer on hairpins and to tighten fastening nuts.
5. To check a belt tension. At correctly adjusted tension the belt has to cave in on 10 mm when pressing by a thumb on the top branch of a belt in the middle between pulleys.
6. If the tension of a belt is not enough, to rearrange the following adjusting washer. To weaken a tension of a belt, washers need to be rearranged upside-down.
