1. To remove brake shoes (see subsection 10.8) if the cylinder is not removed from the car. |
2. To pick up carefully a screw-driver and to take off protective caps (see rice. The wheel brake cylinder) from both parties of the cylinder. |
3. To take out from the cylinder case pistons with cuffs and a spring. |
4. To wash out details of the wheel brake cylinder pure brake fluid and to dry. |
5. The mirror of the cylinder should not have risok, sinks and the centers of corrosion. With these defects the cylinder needs to be replaced. On carving parts of the cylinder there should not be mechanical damages. |
6. Cuffs of the wheel cylinder have to be elastic and elastic. The fragmentary, inflated and hardened cuffs, and also risks having on working surfaces, it is necessary to replace. Protective caps also have to be elastic and elastic. It is obligatory to replace the fragmentary, inflated and hardened caps in order to avoid hit of dirt and water in the wheel cylinder. |
7. The surfaces of pistons contacting to a cylinder mirror should not have traces of unilateral wear. Otherwise it is recommended to replace the wheel cylinder assembled. |
