10.3. Main cylinder of a brake

GENERAL INFORMATION

Main brake cylinder

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the battery.
2. To clear of dirt of a place of connection of pipelines to the main cylinder.
3. To disconnect wires from plugs of the sensor of the level of brake fluid established in a cover of a tank of the main cylinder and to uncover.
4. To turn off nuts of fastening and to disconnect pipelines from the case of the main cylinder of a brake. To muffle openings of pipelines.
5. To turn off two bolts of fastening of the main cylinder to the vacuum amplifier and to remove the main cylinder of a brake with a tank. Thus to watch that the rubber sealant of the cylinder did not drop out.
6. To turn the main cylinder and to merge in capacity brake fluid from a tank. Then several times to press the piston of the main cylinder, having removed with that of it liquid.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
The main cylinder as it should be, the return to removal is installed. After installation it is necessary to pump over brake system (see subsection 10.15).
