12.1.5.18. Check of the switch of light of a backing
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the battery.
2. To disconnect wires from plugs of the switch of light of the backing located at a back end face of a transmission.
3. To connect an ohmmeter to plugs of the switch and to check resistance. At neutral position of the lever of gear shifting resistance has to be equal to infinity (the switch is switched off).
4. To include transfer of a backing. Resistance has to be equal to zero (the switch is switched on). If at least one of these conditions is not carried out, the switch is faulty and it needs to be replaced.
