GENERAL INFORMATION

Numbers of contacts of the sensor of air temperature

1 and 2 – contacts of the sensor;

3 – air temperature sensor;

4 – protective cover

Numbers of contacts of a connecting block of the control unit

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To shift a protective cover.
2. To measure by an ohmmeter resistance between contacts "1" and "2" sensors. It has to be 400–700 Ohms.
3. If resistance differs from specified, it is necessary to measure conducting resistance between contact "3" and contacts "1" and "2" in turn. Resistance has to be equal to respectively zero and 400–700 Ohms.
4. Then to measure resistance between contact "24" and contacts "1" and "2" in turn. Resistance has to be also equal to respectively zero and 400–700 Ohms. If resistance differs from specified, there is a break in conducting.
5. To unsolder wires from the sensor and again to measure resistance between its contacts "1" and "2". It has to be 400–700 Ohms. If resistance differs from specified, to replace the sensor.
6. To turn off two bolts and to remove the sensor.
7. To install the new sensor, to wrap bolts.
8. To solder wires to contacts of the sensor.
