1.19. Replacement of operational liquids and lubricants

GENERAL INFORMATION

Engine oil needs to be changed through 15 000 km of run at petrol engines and through 7500 km – at diesel. At the new car it is necessary to replace oil after the termination of a running in (through 1500 km). When replacing oil surely replace also an oil filter.

In a case of the engine it is recommended to fill in oil of the same brand what was in the engine. If oil of other brand is used, previously it is necessary to wash out the engine lubrication system oil of that brand which will be filled in in the engine. For this purpose it is necessary to merge old oil, to fill in new oil of min 2-4 mm higher than a tag on the index (probe) of level of oil. To start the engine and to allow it to work idling about 10 min. Then to merge oil, to replace the filtering element of an oil filter and to fill in fresh oil.

Once a year check density of cooling liquid and if necessary add G11V8A concentrate. If there is no opportunity to add a concentrate, it is recommended to change cooling liquid of 1 times in 2 years. It must be kept in mind that cooling liquid is poisonous therefore it is impossible to suck in liquid a mouth at transfusion. During the work with cooling liquid it is recommended to use goggles, not to smoke and not to eat food on a workplace. If liquid got on open sites of skin, them wash out water with soap.

Oil in a transmission needs to be changed through 90 000 km of run. Through 15 000 km it is necessary to check oil level in a transmission and if necessary to add to norm. Oil level in KP has to reach an opening of a jellied stopper. It is necessary to change brake fluid in the drive of coupling and the drive of brakes 1 time in 2 years. It is recommended to perform this operation in the spring, along with the next maintenance. In drives of brakes and couplings are used the FMVSS 116 DOT 4 brake fluid. Brake fluid is hygroscopic therefore it is stored only in the closed container.
