3.2.2.7. Dismantling and assembly of the drive of a camshaft
GENERAL INFORMATION

Camshaft drive details

1 – generator drive belt;
2 – vibroquencher;
3 – camshaft drive cover the lower;
4 – camshaft drive cover the top;
5 – camshaft drive belt;
6 – cogwheel;
7 – camshaft drive cover the back;
8 – rack of fastening of the top cover;
9 – sealing ring of the water pump;
10 – water pump;
11 – cogwheel of a cranked shaft;
12 – intermediate pulley

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To take off a belt of 1 drive of the generator.
2. By means of the special tool to block a cranked shaft from a provorachivaniye and to weaken an inhaling of a bolt of fastening of a vibroquencher 2 to a cranked shaft.
3. To remove the top cover 4. To install the piston of the 1st cylinder in v.m.t. (see subitem 3-4 of subsection 3.2.2). To weaken an inhaling of bolts of fastening of the water pump and to turn the pump to the block, having weakened thereby a camshaft drive belt 5 tension. To take off a belt 5 from a wheel 6. To remove a cogwheel of the 6th camshaft, having turned off a bolt of its fastening
4. To remove the lower cover 3 drives of a camshaft, having turned off fastening bolts.
5. To turn off a bolt of fastening of a vibroquencher and to remove a vibroquencher 2 with a cogwheel 11 cranked shaft and a belt 5.
6. To assemble the camshaft drive upside-down. Before installation to apply sealant on carving part of a bolt of fastening of a vibroquencher and cogwheel of a cranked shaft. To tighten a bolt the moment of 350 N · m (35 kgfs · м). To adjust a camshaft drive belt tension (see subitem 1-3 of subsection 3.2.2.2).
