3.2.2.8. Removal and installation of a flywheel

GENERAL INFORMATION

Flywheel, cranked shaft, oil pump

1 – oil pump;
2 – laying of the oil pump;
3 – block of cylinders;
4 – laying of the holder of an epiploon;
5 – holder of an epiploon;
6 – epiploon back cranked shaft;
7 – flywheel;
8 – bearing of primary shaft of a transmission;
9 – lower insert of the radical bearing;
10 – cover of the radical bearing;
11 – bolt of fastening of a cover of the radical bearing;
12 – receiver of the oil pump;
13 – laying of the receiver;
14 – cranked shaft;
15 – top insert of the radical bearing;
16 – forward epiploon of a cranked shaft;

On cars with automatic transmission instead of a flywheel the driving disk is established. An order of removal and installation of a driving disk same, as for a flywheel.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To mark the mutual provision of a flywheel and cranked shaft.
2. Evenly to turn off bolts of fastening of a flywheel on 1–2 turns.
3. Gradually evenly to turn out bolts of fastening of a flywheel and to remove a flywheel 7.
4. To establish a flywheel (a driving disk) upside-down. Before installation to apply sealant on a carving of bolts of fastening of a flywheel. To tighten bolts the moment of 100 N · m (10 kgfs · м). If replaced a driving disk new, to check and if it is necessary, to adjust its situation. The distance from a back wall of the block of cylinders to an adjusting surface of the transformer on a driving disk has to be 17,2–18,8 mm. It is possible to adjust the provision of a driving disk, having established between it and a cranked shaft laying.
