Order of an inhaling of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders

The engine is removed from the car

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To turn off nuts and to remove the top cover 2 drives of a camshaft (see rice. Five-cylinder engine).
2. To turn off twelve nuts of fastening and to uncover the 11th heads of the block, thus not to remove laying.
3. To install the piston of the 1st cylinder in v.m.t. a compression step (both valves are closed). The tag on a pulley of a cranked shaft has to coincide with a ledge on the case of the oil pump, as shown in drawing (or with a tag on a cover 3 – see rice. Five-cylinder engine).
4. The tag on a cogwheel of a camshaft has to be combined with the top plane of laying of a cover of a head of the block. The runner of the distributor of ignition has to be directed towards contact of the 1st cylinder.
5. To weaken bolts of fastening of the water pump 22 (see rice. The five-cylinder engine) to turn the pump to the block of cylinders to weaken a belt 1 tension.
6. To take off a belt 1 from a cogwheel of the 5th camshaft
7. To turn off a bolt of fastening of a cogwheel 5 and to remove a wheel from a camshaft. To take out a spline 7.
8. To turn off and remove a rack of fastening of a cover 2 to a head of the 6th block.
9. To turn out a bolt of fastening of a back cover 4 to a block head.
10. To turn off bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders, having previously evenly released them as it should be, the return shown in the drawing Order of an Inhaling of Bolts of Fastening of a Head of the Block of Cylinders.
11. To wring out a cover 4 to remove from under it a camshaft. To remove a head of the block of cylinders.
12. To remove laying of the 18th head of the block of cylinders (see rice. Five-cylinder engine)
13. To establish a block head upside-down. Thus to replace laying of the 18th head of the block. To lay new laying on the block of cylinders an inscription of "TOP" up, without using sealant. To tighten bolts of fastening of a head of the block in the sequence shown in the drawing Order of an Inhaling of Bolts of Fastening of a Head of the Block of Cylinders in three stages: the 1st stage – 40 N · m (4,0 kgfs · l); the 2nd stage – 60 N · m (6,0 kgfs · l); – to tighten the 3rd stage further half way (180 °). To tighten a bolt of fastening of a cogwheel 5 to a camshaft the moment of 80 N · m (8,0 kgfs · м). To adjust a camshaft drive belt tension (see subsection 3.2.2.2).

If necessary, for example for replacement and grinding in of valves, cleanings of combustion chambers of a deposit, etc., a head of the block it is possible to remove, without removing the engine from the car.

The engine on the car

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the battery.
2. To merge liquid from the engine cooling system (see subitem 1-3 of subsection 4.1).
3. To remove facing of a radiator and the top casing of a radiator of the cooling system (see subitem of the 7th subsection 4.6, subitem 1-2 of subsection 11.2).
4. To remove the air filter (cm. subitem 1-6 of subsection 6.1.2).
5. To take off a generator belt (cm. subitem 2-5 of subsection 12.1.3.1).
6. On the cars equipped with the conditioner without disconnecting hoses, to remove the compressor and to fix a wire sideways on a body.
7. On cars with the amplifier of a steering, without disconnecting hoses, to remove the pump of the amplifier and to fix a wire sideways on a body.
8. To disconnect the top hose of a radiator.
9. To mark all fuel and vacuum hoses and to disconnect them from a block head.
10. To uncover the ignition distributor with wires of a high voltage and the holder of wires.
11. On models with vsprysky fuels to weaken an inhaling of a collar and to disconnect an air duct 12 (see rice. Basic elements of system of injection of fuel) from the case of a butterfly valve. To disconnect wires from the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.
12. To disconnect a cable of an accelerator and if is, the mechanism cruise control.
13. To disconnect a wire of "weight" from a block head.
14. To disconnect a reception pipe of the muffler.
15. Further an order of removal of a head of the block same, as on the engine removed from the car (see subitem 1-12 of subsection 3.2.2).
16. To establish a block head upside-down (see subitem of the 13th subsection 3.2.2).
