7.4.1.7. Selection of thickness of adjusting rings of back bearings

GENERAL INFORMATION

The scheme of selection of adjusting rings at installation of back bearings of primary and secondary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To measure distance and from the privalochny plane of a case of a transmission to a back end face of an external ring of the back bearing of primary shaft.
2. To measure b distance from the privalochny plane of a case of a transmission to a back end face of an external ring of the back bearing of a secondary shaft.
3. To measure distance with from the privalochny plane of a cover to an end face of a nest of the back bearing of a secondary shaft.
4. To measure d distance from the privalochny plane of a cover to an end face of a nest of the back bearing of primary shaft.
5. For providing a pretightness of bearings of 0,1 mm to calculate thickness of adjusting rings on formulas:
    – for the bearing of primary shaft:
S1 = d – a + T – 0,1,
where T – thickness of laying, equal 0,4 mm;
    – for the bearing of a secondary shaft:
S2 = with – b + T – 0,1,
where T – thickness of laying, equal 0,4 mm.
6. To pick up adjusting rings thickness equal to S1 and S2. In spare parts adjusting washers 1,53 thick are delivered; 1,58; 1,63 and 1,68 mm for the back bearing of primary shaft and from 0,15 to 1,40 mm thick with an interval through each 0,5 mm for the back bearing of a secondary shaft.
