PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. All details of shatunno-piston group need to be cleared and washed out gasoline.
2. To examine pistons. To measure diameter of a skirt of the piston at distance of 15 mm from bottom edge of a skirt perpendicular to an axis of a piston finger. The piston needs to be replaced if the measured diameter differs on 0,04 mm from nominal, equal 80,98 mm. To measure a gap in the lock of a piston ring, insert a ring into the cylinder and advance the piston, as a mandrel, on distance of 15 mm from the cylinder basis. To measure by the probe a gap in the lock. If the gap exceeds 1,0 mm, rings should be replaced.
3. To measure a lateral gap between piston rings and flutes on the piston in several places on a circle. If the gap exceeds 0,15 mm, replace rings or pistons.
4. To measure by Nutromer diameter of cylinders, as shown in the drawing Scheme of Measurements of Diameter of the Cylinder. Diameter of each cylinder is measured in six points, in 10 mm from bottom edge of the cylinder, in 10 mm from the upper edge of the cylinder and in the middle in two perpendicular directions. If wear from the nominal diameter equal to 81,01 mm, exceeds 0,08 mm, to chisel cylinders under the repair size. If wear reaches limit only in one cylinder, it is all the same necessary to chisel all four cylinders, differently the engine will not be balanced.
