3.1.2.8. Gaps between cams of a cam-shaft and pushers of valves
Gaps between cams of a camshaft and pushers of valves (engines of the DR and DS models of release till September, 1985) regulate by means of adjusting washers which make from 3,0 to 4,25 mm thick with a step of 0,05 mm. Thickness is written on one of the parties of a washer. Gaps on the cold engine (at a temperature of cooling liquid (20±50) of °C have to be for inlet valves (0,20±0,05) of mm, for final (0,40±0,05) mm. It is necessary to regulate gaps after grinding in and polishing of valves after installation of a new camshaft. In these cases through 1000 km of run repeatedly check and if necessary regulate gaps in valves. Adjustment
