3.1.2.2. Removal of a camshaft and pushers of valves

GENERAL INFORMATION

Head of the block of cylinders, camshaft and valves

1 – final valve;
2 – inlet valve;
3 – laying;
4 – valve spring the internal;
5 – valve spring the external;
6 – plate of valve springs;
7 – valve pusher;
8 – washer adjusting;
9 – camshaft;
10 – bearing cover;
11 – spline;
12 – camshaft cogwheel;
13 – washer;
14 – bolt of fastening of a cogwheel;
15 – valve crackers;
16 – oil scraper cap;
17 – basic washer of springs of the valve;
18 – the directing valve plug;
19 – head of the block of cylinders;

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To turn off a bolt of fastening of a cogwheel of a camshaft, to remove a wheel 12 and to take from a nest on a shaft a segment spline 11.
2. To turn off nuts of fastening of covers of bearings of the 1, 3 and 5, considering from a camshaft drive belt. To mark covers and to remove them.
3. To weaken and evenly to turn off nuts of fastening of covers of bearings of the 2nd and 4th. To mark covers and to remove them.
4. To remove a camshaft together with an epiploon.
5. To mark and remove pushers of valves. At each pusher from above in dredging the adjusting washer 8 is established. Adjusting washers from pushers are not recommended to be taken out not to mix them at assembly.
