3.1.2.18. Removal, survey and installation of a cranked shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove shatunno-piston group (see subsection 3.1.2.15).
2. To uncover epiploons of a cranked shaft with epiploons (see the item 2 of subsection 3.1.2.12) (a forward epiploon), subitem 1-2 of subsection 3.1.2.12) (a back epiploon).
3. To check marking on covers of radical bearings. If she is not visible, to mark covers number of the bearing.
4. To turn off bolts of 9 covers of radical bearings and to uncover 10 with inserts 8 (see rice. Cranked shaft and block of cylinders).
5. To remove a cranked shaft and to take out inserts 13 of beds of radical bearings and persistent half rings 1, previously having marked them number of the bearing.
6. To examine a cranked shaft. On working surfaces should not be having chopped off, zaboin, scratches, etc. Small scratches can be polished and then to zapolirovat. To measure diameters of a neck of shatunny and radical bearings. If they it is less nominal (the radical bearing of 57,96-57,98 mm, shatunny 45,96–45,98 mm), to pereshlifovat them under the repair size.
7. To establish inserts of 13 radical bearings in a bed so that the ledge of an insert entered dredging of a bed, and the opening for supply of oil in an insert coincided with an opening in a bed. 8. To lay a cranked shaft on beds of radical bearings, previously having oiled necks of a cranked shaft the engine.
9. To establish in covers of 10 bearings inserts 8 and persistent half rings 1 and to oil the engine.
10. To establish covers into place according to earlier made marking, to insert bolts 9 into a cover of the central bearing, to wrap and tighten the moment of 65 N · m (6,5 kgfs · м). To check that the cranked shaft freely rotated.
11. To establish and tighten covers of other bearings, going in the direction from the central bearing. After installation of the next cover to be convinced that the cranked shaft rotates freely.
12. To check an axial gap of a cranked shaft for what to insert the probe between a cheek of a cranked shaft and a persistent ring of the average bearing, displacing a shaft in the axial direction in one, and then in other party.
